Paulo Freire's ideas are indeed relevant when referring to STPM teaching in schools. Teachers often aim to "pour" the syllabus into students' minds, without concern for whether they truly understand it, as dialogue is rarely encouraged. After teaching, to test their understanding, workshops or student presentations are held. But how can students present in front of the class when they haven't even learned the topic yet? Don't use the excuse of limited time or rushing to complete the syllabus.
